Tomboy look

Hoy me percaté de que nunca he hecho un post sobre una de mis tendencias favoritas, el look tomboy.

Les cuento que ando un poco inspirada, entre la noticia del cambio de sexo de Andreja Pejic y escuchar canciones de David Bowie, me di cuenta de que era hora de dedicarle un espacio en este blog a este estilo súper conocido y que me encanta.

La idea del look tomboy es parecer un chico-chica, no exagerar con brillos y lentejuelas y conseguir esos aires andróginos que se ven tanto en la industria de la moda actual.

Pantalones boyfriend, con pliegues, anchos, tartan, chaquetas, camisas, cardigans, blazers, cuero, botines, oxfords...todo esto funciona para lograr el look. Recuerden que la actitud es lo más importante, sino, acudan a las reinas del tomboy Alexa Chung y Cara Delevingne y vean como rockean este estilo sin ningún problema. 

¿Probarían este look? A mi me encanta y lo intentó de vez en cuando. No existe nada mejor que cuando te adueñas de tu estilo y lo llevas con 100% comodidad. That's heaven.

I've realized that I've never written a post about one of my favourite trends, the tomboy look.

So...here are some news. I'm a little inspired. Between the Andreja Pejic's sex reassignment surgery and listening to David Bowie's songs, I've realized that it was time to dedicate some place in this blog to this style, just because it's so famous and I love it.

The idea of the tomboy look is just to look like boy/girl, I mean, we need to get that androgynous look that everyone in the fashion industry is dying for.

Boyfriend jeans, tartan, jackets, shirts, cardigans, blazers, leather, chelsea boots, oxford shoes...everything works when you're trying to get the look, but remember, personality is the most important part of all this, just ask the queens of tomboy, Alexa Chung and Cara Delevingne and see how they rock this style.

Would you try this look? I love it and I try it everytime I can. There's nothing better than owning your style and being 100% comfortable with it. That's heaven.
